We are hiring! Operations Supervisor / Field Trainer


Cibes Lift US Inc is a subsidiary of Cibes Lift Group AB. Although we are just beginning our journey in North America, the Swedish roots of Cibes go back to 1947 and we are very proud of our long history.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that wants to be a part of a growing company. This position will entail a variety of responsibilities across the company’s operations function. Some of the tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Train and certify dealers to install/service/repair Cibes lifts
  • Provide technical support to customers and dealers
  • Support sales with site surveys and drawing approvals
  • Communicate with factory and ensure lifts are manufactured and delivered as specified
  • Communicate with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) as needed
  • Enforce code compliance
  • Review products and assist in certifications for products to be introduced to NA market
  • Be a safety leader

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • High School / GED equivalent or higher (required)
  • College Degree / Engineering certifications (preferred)
  • Certificate of Competency / Certified Elevator Technician / Certified Elevator Inspector (preferred)
  • Hands-on lift/elevator field experience (preferred)
  • Experience working in an office environment (preferred)
  • Strong track record of safety and safety leadership (required)
  • OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) experience (required)
  • Experience working with technical drawings (preferred)
  • Ability to lift items that weigh up to 25 lbs (required)

Skills & Qualities desired:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of codes and norms that relate to wheelchair lifts and elevators
  • Ability to learn and teach technical material
  • Ambition to keep learning and growing as a professional
  • Curiosity and enjoyment for working with mechanical and electrical products
  • “Big picture” thinking

This role may evolve as the company grows. Position will be based out of South Florida and travel of up to 30% (or more) may be required to support a nationwide dealer network.
