What happens if you’re self-isolating and you need repairs?
As we are maintaining business as best we can at Cibes Lift UK, we want to ensure that extra precautions are in place regarding customers who are self-isolating and may need repairs to their lifts.
The health for our staff, customers, and partners is top priority for us, and with the continued development of the Covid-19 situation, we are following all Government guidelines and wanted to share some of the precautions we’re taking.
If you require a service or repair, we are now offering phone assistance so we can discuss any issues or requests for service visits over the phone. We are limited with the amount of engineers we have at the moment, so if we are able to solve issues through phone support we will use this route first.
The number for this is 0800 085 0269.
If a customer is in an emergency i.e. the lift halts, they can call the number provided in the lift which will take them straight to our emergency breakdown line. The service department will talk them through the issue and where necessary send an engineer or emergency services.
If a call–out is essential, there is a 24/7 line, 0800 085 0269 and we aim to get to site within 48 hours, unless the customer is on the Peace of Mind plan which is priority next working day.
The service department can take as many details as they can in terms of issue, lift type, where lift is, etc. An engineer will then call to try to rectify problem. If it is not solvable over the phone, a visit can be arranged in line with the nature of the breakdown and the engineer’s advice in terms of urgency.
Since the UK lockdown measures have been put in place, we have been able to resolve all issues with an engineer call.
We please ask, that if you have any confirmed cases, are experiencing symptoms or have office and site closures that you allow a member of the Cibes team to know in advance of any contact.
